Outside Churchill House

by Elizabeth

Come experience this picturesque Greek Revival home, set amid 18 acres of manicured grounds, hills, fields and streams. Come relax on the wrap-around porch, or sit down by the arbor in the perennial garden. Come walk the trail by the creek and then head back to the porch for a cold drink & home made cookies.

Since 1991, Churchill House has invited Bed & Breakfast guests to come year around to enjoy the serene beauty of the Berkshires. Spring is a glorious time to watch nature’s new life. In Summer, the hills come alive with “culture in the country”. There are unlimited performing arts events, museum exhibits and historic sites to visit. Fall brings brisk nights and colorful days and the Berkshires are unsurpassed for “leaf peeping”. Winter is a special time in the Berkshires. The combination of natural snow and snowmaking is unparalleled. Jiminy Peak Ski Resort is a mere 10 minutes away. Skiers and snowboarders just can’t get enough of that downhill stuff. Outstanding cross country skiing is everywhere!.

Location is important and so are your accommodations, so come to Churchill House to enjoy a full hearty breakfast, a feather bed and the view from the front porch or screened in gazebo. Unwind with a glass of wine before Tanglewood or warm up to a crackling fire and mulled cider after leaf peeping or skiing. Visit one of the many attractions or just catch up on that book you’ve been wanting to read. We, at Churchill House, are always there with personal attention to all your needs. You’ll step inside to find wideboard floors, wonderful antique furnishings and a friendly, relaxing atmosphere.
